PRECISION RIFLE TRAINING 1
2 DAY COURSE
OVERVIEW:
Precision Rifle 1 is an introductory course designed for the student who has no and very little formalized training. We will give you a solid foundation with which to continue improving your skills with advanced training or self guided practice.
PRE-REQUISITES:
Since this is an entry-level course, the only required skills are safe weapons handling skills and the desire to learn and improve.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:
- Precision Rifle nomenclature and set-up.
- Proper Rifle maintenance and care.
- How optics function both externally and internally.
- Internal, external, and terminal ballistics.
- Zeroing procedures and the effects of the environment of your zero.
- Rifle manipulation to include, loading, unloading, reloading, and clearing malfunctions.
- Basic shooting positions and the importance of natural and artificial support.
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT (MINIMUM):
- A quality precision rifle (bolt or semi automatic) of at least 5.56/ .223 caliber equipped with a sling and a bipod. (.338 is largest allowable- please verify with us first since there is considerations for steel)
- A properly mounted magnified optic. (scope level highly recommended)
- Shooting mat and rear support bag.
- Note taking material.
- Rifle cleaning equipment.
- Medium sized backpack filled with a sufficient amount of clothing etc. to serve as a shooting rest/support.
- 200 rounds of quality Match ammunition.
- Water, food, clothing, and sunscreen etc. as needed to maintain comfort.
RECOMMENDED GEAR:
- Spotting scope or binoculars
- Shooting tripod
- Wind meter
- Laser range finder

PRECISION RIFLE TRAINING 2
2 DAY COURSE
OVERVIEW:
Precision Rifle 2 is a follow up course designed for the student who has had an intermediate level formalized training. We will continue to add to your skills foundation which will enable you to continue improving your skills with advanced training or self guided practice.
PRE-REQUISITES:
A Basic/intermediate Precision Rifle course from any recognized and properly vetted source.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:
- Confirmation of zero and adjustments necessary to compensate for atmospherics and location.
- Precision engagement of targets inside your zero distance.
- Building reliable, repeatable standard and improvised shooting positions.
- Effective utilization of wind meters and ballistic calculators.
- Advanced wind calls.
- Utilization of hold-overs for rapid target engagement.
- Multiple target engagement at varying distances.
- Man on Man timed drills.
- Engaging targets from tripods
